Engaging students with classical liberal ideas begins with engaging content. That is why IHS is proud to partner with faculty to create, curate, and disseminate quality, user-friendly content that elevates the classroom experience.
At IHS, the Educational Resources team partners with enterprising professors to create high-quality resources that engage students with classical liberal ideas. Our vision is that you have the tools you need to elucidate complex concepts and introduce new topics. If you’re unable to find exactly what you need, IHS will work with you directly to create it.
“Videos can introduce, or summarize, a much longer portion of a lecture. Covering material two or even three times in different ways has been shown to improve the comprehension of new topics, and the retention of concepts that students have “already learned” but not really mastered.”
– Professor Michael Munger, Duke University
IHS is your support system throughout the content creation process. Our Educational Resources staff will work with you directly to provide a high-quality product that resonates with students.

Have an Idea or a Need?
Generating high-quality, effective content is our goal. If your specific resource needs aren’t being met by the available content on the web, we can create it for you.
If you have a suggestion or a specific need for content, we will partner with you to design it, including interactive videos or games, as well as digital, print, and OER textbooks. Our team will determine the overall viability of project requests based on need and resources.
Digital Curriculum Content and Projects
Our projects include partnerships with professors nationwide to meet the growing demand for classroom content. While we currently have several projects in production, we are particularly excited about our contributions to Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) coursework.
IHS is creating a series of video modules on topics central to PPE, including game theory, justice, and public choice. These modules are ideal for use in a classroom as discussion starters or as material to augment established curricula, and will be available via OpenStax CNX, Merlot, and OER Commons in 2019.
