Poverty in America: Critical Perspectives on Causes, Effects, and Possible Solutions

The United States, the wealthiest country in the world, has almost 40 million people living in poverty (3.2 million in severe poverty). This conference explores the broad impacts of poverty on our society (both economic and social) and possible methods to address it. The interactive format of this conference encourages dialogue among presenters and participants to explore collaborative problem-solving and critical feedback.
