Our Career Development Seminar for Early Stage Graduate Students focuses on teaching participants how to craft a research agenda, what they should consider when choosing an advisor and/or mentor, and emphasizing the importance of publishing their research and networking within the academy.

Potential topics that will be covered:

  1. Publishing and research planning
  2. Networking and conferences strategy
  3. Crafting a 5-year plan
  4. Finding mentors and advisors

IHS will provide a $100 honorarium, travel stipend, hotel accommodations, and meals. We offer several other funding opportunities for current and aspiring faculty as well.
