Daniel Karns serves as Student Programs Specialist at the Institute for Humane Studies. Daniel is a 2018 graduate of Baylor University with a BA in Economics and International Studies. While at Baylor, Daniel helped pilot the Free Enterprise Scholars Program at the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute and also had the privilege of serving in the Baylor Ambassadors program. It was at Baylor that Daniel discovered and cultivated his passion for free enterprise, ethics, and education. Some of his favorite extracurricular activities included international travel, studying abroad in Italy, and intramural sports with his friends. Daniel’s favorite authors include F.A. Hayek, Edmund Burke, C.S. Lewis, and Adam Smith. Outside of work, you can find Daniel reading in a coffee shop, cheering on his Baylor Bears, or enjoying the outdoors.
