As the Student Programs Director, Daniel Winchester helps produce and distribute faculty resources related to classical liberal ideas. Prior to joining IHS, Daniel interned at the Bill of Rights Institute, where he researched upcoming changes in social studies education policy. He has also held research positions at his university and at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
Originally from Fair Lawn, NJ, Daniel graduated from Yeshiva University where he studied economics, French, and Jewish studies. He also spent two years living in Israel, poring over biblical texts and learning the secrets behind delicious hummus. When his face isn’t firmly planted in a good book, Daniel loves to travel, write, follow his New York sports teams, and play flag football.
