Samuel Johnson is a Project Manager on the Network Relations team at the Institute for Humane Studies. His main goal is to find opportunities for faculty in the IHS network to lend their expertise outside of academia. To complete this goal, he oversees strategic relationships with student-focused organizations, national policy partners, conference associations, and legislative allies. In addition, he represents the Institute at national coalition and policy meetings, compiles weekly reports of network activity, sets the organization’s conference strategy and manages IHS’ efforts to insert classical liberal scholarship into the policy world.
Sam is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he earned his BA in Economics.
