Samuel Johnson is Manager of the Academic Network Development team at the Institute for Humane Studies. His main goal is to grow the IHS network of graduate students. In this role, Sam serves as a key external face for the organization, representing IHS at programs, academic conferences, and campuses across the country. In addition to this role, he also leads the IHS academic conference strategy, and manages the academic conference panel support piece of the organization’s Dynamism project.
Sam is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he received his BA in Economics.
