Before returning to academia he worked as an attorney for over ten years advising business clients that ranged from publicly traded companies to small family businesses.
Stephen is originally from Dublin, Ireland, but now lives in Buffalo, New York with his wife, three children, dog, cat, and rabbit. He enjoys walking with his family, playing the guitar, watching soccer, and cooking.
