During this full-day seminar, participants will discuss economic opportunity as a crucial precursor to economic growth and prosperity in a society. Attendees will explore some of the most pressing barriers to economic opportunity facing the next generation of Americans. Three panels and one keynote address will discuss timely issues in occupational licensing, the future of education, and how public policy interacts with the changing workforce.

This event will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss new ideas, explore future research topics, build their own network of scholars and policy experts, and examine potential policy solutions that could help expand economic opportunity for the next generation. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University and immediately precedes the Association of Private Enterprise Education’s annual meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
