IHS Summer Seminar: Justice or “Just Us?”

Justice or “Just Us?”: Can Liberty Further the Goals of Equality and Justice?
Georgetown University | Washington, DC

This year’s IHS Summer Seminar at Georgetown University in Washington, DC will explore the intersecting relationship between equality and justice and the role each plays in our lives. The seminar will bring together aspiring academics and esteemed faculty for rigorous academic discussion that breaks down the cultural understanding of human rights and delves into how individual freedom and liberty are necessary building blocks for a just and equal world.

Through interdisciplinary panels, lectures, and discussions during the day and conversations with newfound friends and peers during evening socials, a cohort of graduate students and advanced undergraduates will be able to learn about new ideas and have their opinions challenged by other participants and faculty leaders.
