Overview

Join the Institute for Humane Studies for a research symposium on “The Institutional Effects of Foreign Intervention” ahead of the Southern Economic Association’s (SEA) 2022 Annual Meeting on November 18, 2022. This event will feature a keynote address from Christian Bjørnskov of Aarhus University and a panel highlighting recent research in the field, including the impact of colonialism and regime changes on economic development.

IHS will provide participants with a $300 stipend to cover the cost of one night of hotel for this program.

Here is the timeline for our application process:
