Classical Liberalism and Technology Reading Groups

Overview

On behalf of the Institute for Humane Studies, you are invited to participate in a reading and discussion group examining the intersection of classical liberal ideas and the technology industry. Led by professionals well-versed in moderating conversation and engaging diverse perspectives, these groups will discuss topics like the role of innovation in human progress, knowledge and education, biased use of the public sector, and more.

These groups will meet for 90 minutes to discuss pre-distributed readings. Snacks and beverages will be provided, and the exact location will be communicated upon registration.

The groups will convene in the following cities:

  • Denver/Boulder, CO – August 5: led by Lynne Kiesling and Rachel Lomasky
  • San Francisco, CA – August 17: led by Stefani Smith, and Vivek Mohta
