Overview
Responding to concerns about declining trust in research and the institutions and professionals that support it, the Institute for Humane Studies is convening an interdisciplinary group of scholars and practitioners to examine the causes of this decline and consider how to rebuild trust.
We invite you to address these pressing questions with others attending the 2024 Heterodox Academy (HxA) Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
The symposium takes place on June 5, 2024—the day before the HxA conference starts—beginning with opening remarks at 3:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM after a networking reception.
Please come prepared to share your ideas for future academic and professional contributions on rebuilding trust in academic research. IHS is providing a $550 stipend for non-local attendees.
If you have research interests in this area, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
