Women and Minorities in Entrepreneurship

Overview

Connect with other scholars to share your thoughts on the current issues in minority entrepreneurship and women in entrepreneurship. This casual networking forum will commence with opening remarks given by Dr. Nabamita Dutta, professor of economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Dr. Diana Hechavarria, associate professor of management at Texas Tech University.

Following these remarks, participants will have the opportunity to join a breakout discussion where they can connect with other researchers working on similar issues and further hone their own research ideas.

The breakout rooms will be organized as follows:
Women in Entrepreneurship | Moderated by Dr. Nabamita Dutta
Minority Entrepreneurship | Moderated by Dr. Diana Hechavarria

Please come prepared to discuss your current research and share ideas for future academic research or public-facing work, such as op-eds. This event takes place on August 11, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, and will be hosted via Zoom.
