Dr. Ben Stickle is a professor of criminal justice at Middle Tennessee State University and a senior fellow for criminal justice with the Beacon Center of Tennessee. With over two decades of experience in policing, security, and academic research, his work focuses on property crime, policing, and emerging offenses such as package theft and crime in the sharing economy. His scholarship, grounded in rational choice and opportunity theories, aims to identify practical, efficient solutions to crime.
