Overview
The Institute for Humane Studies is pleased to invite scholars to participate in a focused, collaborative papers workshop advancing research on health care and health policy. Because access to health is foundational to dignity and human flourishing, IHS wants to offer scholars a space to refine their ideas and receive constructive feedback on working papers addressing some of today’s most pressing issues in health care and health policy.
If your research is related to market-based solutions to health care and health insurance, technological innovation in health care, or about access to innovative treatments, we encourage you to apply to participate in this papers workshop.
All participants will be expected to submit a working paper in advance and to read and provide feedback on other participants' papers. In addition to providing a stipend to offset travel expenses for the in-person event, IHS will provide two nights of hotel accommodations and an honorarium for full participation in the event.
The program will kick off with registration at 5:00 PM ET on Wednesday, August 5, and continue through the day on Thursday, August 6.
